The girls in Mr. Brady’s fourth class have created some lovely pictures in Art. Each Friday, they completed sketches of each other and on places such as Athcarne Castle. To finish up drawing, the girls were given the task of finishing off an image of a known celebrity such as Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber. Here are some examples of work the children completed.

The girls in Ms. Lambe’s class have been very busy since September!
In Maths, we have been learning about multiplication and division and we had a lot of fun during Maths week (14th – 22nd October). We had maths challenges and games and went hunting for clues during our Maths Trail around the school!
We have a new Reading Corner in our classroom, which the girls are really happy with. Our books are nicely organised now and everyone helped to decorate it. Here you can see Megan and Faye enjoying some peace and quiet with their books!
We worked very hard on our S.E.S.E. project about the Aztecs, Incas and Mayas and we learned about the countries that they lived in, Mexico and Peru. We also learned about Día de los Muertos which is celebrated in Mexico on the 1st and 2nd of November. Check back later for more photos!

We had great fun today dressing up for Halloween. We had a spooky fashion show and then a super Halloween party. We hope you all have a lovely Halloween!!
Well done to the girls who received special certificates from Ms. Healy for all their hard work since September. Well done girls!
We have had a very busy two months in 1st and 2nd class. It has flown by and we have welcomed many new girls to our class and made lots of new friends.
All the girls are looking forward to celebrating Halloween and we prepared for this by designing scary masks. Below are some pictures of our masterpieces.

We have been busy learning about the skeleton. Today we made pasta skeletons.
We have been very busy over the last few weeks and we have settled in very well to Junior and Senior Infants. We have been doing lots of work and we learned a lot over the past few weeks. We started Aistear and we really enjoy it 🙂 In Aistear this week we made these spooky witch masks for Halloween!! Have a look at them but try not to get too scared!! We are looking forward to our Mid-term break but we will let you know after Halloween about all the fun things that we get up to.
