The girls in Ms. Costigan’s 5th and 6th class have been working very hard over the last few weeks in all subjects, particularly Maths, Gaeilge and English. The word wall in our classroom is growing rapidly as the girls continually learn and use new vocabulary. The girls are also in the process of creating a notice board of positive phrases and words which will enhance their outlook on life and learning. Following on from the exploration of ‘procedural writing’, the girls decided to make chocolate chip scones on Friday. They enjoyed baking the scones as much as they enjoyed eating them!
