Active School Launch
Our school is currently working very hard towards updating our Active School Flay which expired recently. An Active School is a school that strives to achieve a physically educated and physically active school community.
While children get 60 minutes of a Physical Education lesson every week, it is now recommended that children should be engaged in some form of physical activity for this time every day. However, from recent findings, it has shown that well over half of children are not achieving this daily requirement.
This Active School initiative hopes to help children become more active throughout their school day at any given opportunity. Below is the launch of our active school where children took part in a ‘Halloween Fun Run’.
